Making Place Cards for my Valentines Birthday Luncheon

I've been busy, busy, busy preparing for my upcoming soiree. And placecards are a must! Thanks to a GREAT company called CRAFTY SECRETS, I found a free downloadable print that I copied onto cardstock to make the Placecards for the Valentines Birthday Luncheon that I am giving this Saturday. There website is http://www.craftysecrets.com/ and it well worth going to. They carry beautiful Paper Products that I have used in scrapbooking and other projects. I LOVE their  Heartwarming Vintage Collection. So if you like vintage things at all this collection is for you. Here one of the finished place cards that will be at each persons placesetting.

Isn't this just beautiful. And this is made from the downloadable print.

First I had to take the downloaded image and cut it in half and turned the top of the card around so that when  folded it would have both sides facing out correctly. (See download on their site to see what I mean.) Then I taped it to a piece of cardstock and then copied it onto white cardstock. I added the copyright to the middle of the photo showing here. But the copyright I added is not on the download accept by the manufacturer in the bottom corner.

Then I cut around the edges of the image.
This is a photo of the card completely cut out.

I then folded it in half

And this is what it looks like standing up....ready for the writing to become a placecard at my luncheon table. I know my guests will love it.

This one is finished with a name and ready to go on the table. I know these handwritten named placecards will become delightful keepsakes to those attending the luncheon.

Thankyou for joining me today. And thanks to Crafty Secrets for their beautiful free downloadable card. Be sure you go and see their website. You'll be glad you did.

You are doing a great job with your blog and I wanted to help spread the word to other people about it.

If you don't want to participate, no biggie, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to let you know your blog is appreciated. :D

Hello my dear friend Nann. Just wanted to say thank you for linking up this idea to my Thriving on Thursday linky party last week. If you get your blog post written up on the luncheon, I'd love for you to share that as well this week. You've got until Sunday night (Aussie time) to link up. No rush.
