While Standing in line at the Checkout Counter....

As I was waiting in the check out line of Home Goods  this delightful book just caught my eye and I just had to get out of the line to check it out. The pages were filled with delicious recipes and gorgeous photos and I was totally mesmerized as I turned the pages. And wow the price was only $3.99. I thought what a buy!! So of course it just fell into my cart with the few other things I was purchasing.

French Macaroons are all the rage now and I've wanted to try making some. So here is a little peak into this book. Its jammed packed with wonderful recipes and photos.

Good Thursday afternoon, Nann. This is definitely a very appealing book. I haven't tried my hand at making macaroons. Hopefully I will be able to keep that temptation away awhile longer.:-)

The macaron is harder to make than it looks. I have tried several times not quite right. I even weighed everything like the chefs do. I hope you have an easier time . Your header is so pretty and inviting. Happy Pinks!

What a wonderful book! Love macaroons because they are gluten free, so are safe for snacking!

You had me at "French" Nann. They're one of my favourite sweets but I've never ever tried making them. Always thought they were very hard to make. I might just try to find this book. I pinned your 'making macarons' pin so I'll have a read of that. Thanks for always linking up at Thriving on Thursdays. The linky party starts in just over 12 hours. Would love to see what you've been up to this week.

I love the idea of the pistachio macaroons...I am allergic to almonds so this would work for me. Thanks for sharing, Nan!
