Rabbit Gets Ready for the Big Day

Today we dressed up one of our darling ceramic rabbits for a Pre Easter luncheon table where she will become the centerpiece and the Star of the show.

This is Mrs. Rabbit. Isn't she just adorable all dressed  up.

 She first came like this
I purchased these cute bunnies on Easter Clearance at Walmart a couple of years ago. They were marked down to less than half price so I decided to buy three. And I'm so glad I did. They all came with these blue ribbons.

I removed the blue ribbon from this rabbit.

Added green ivy to surround her

Put a Pretty Pink Bows of ribbon and tulle at the top of her neck

Added stems of small pink flowers with leaves
Took the pink flower stems from this Valentine Arrangement

Added pale pink roses at her neck and around her feet

The Pink roses were taken out of this teapot arrangement

Small Purple flowers were added at her neck and feet

Pale blue and pink colored eggs were added as the finishing touch.

And here she is again. All dressed and ready to go!  Ta Da!! Isn't she just the Sweetest Thing.

In my next post you will see her as the star and official centerpiece of my PreEaster luncheon. And what a table it is. You won't want to miss it....I promise!!

Thanks for joining me today. Its always so fun to have you drop by. Love to hear from each and everyone of you.

Hi Nann-

Oh, you took something that was already cute on it's own and made it even better! The floral embellishments around the bunny necks was a wonderful touch, and the flower bed underneath is a great finishing touch. I just love them! I hope you and your family are doing well and have a wonderful Easter. Thanks for dropping by my party!

Your bunny is so festive now that she has all her flowers and bows! What a great way to make a plain ceramic decoration even prettier.

Wow, Nann...you did a really great job of dressing her up for Easter! I like the way you showed how the elements had been used in previous designs. That really helps the reader who is not as well-versed as you in the area of tablescaping to learn how to get double (or triple, or quadruple, or more!) duty out of things. Very nice! I wish you a very peaceful and safe Easter weekend!
